Hey all! I submitted my primaries about two weeks ago and I'm starting to get secondaries from several schools. I reported my unofficial MCAT scores with my primaries. Today, I recieved an e-mail from Touro-NY saying that I'm ineligible for a secondary because I'm missing an official MCAT score. For some reason it hadn't crossed my mind that I actually needed to log in to the THx reporting service and request my scores to be sent to AACOMAS (yes I know stupid, please don't flame me 😳). My question is:
Have the other schools I've applied to been sending out secondaries without looking at my MCAT scores or have they simply been looking at the unofficial ones?

I thought the purpose of secondaries (besides taking our money) was to make sure applicants met the minimum requirements, but how could they know w/o looking at MCAT scores?

Thanks!

i would assume that schools sent u secondaries might have looked at ur unofficial..but ultimately u need to send in the official score for further consideration in the process

You're not the only one -- I did the same exact thing lol  I just didn't realize (or, I guess, think about it) that I needed to have thx send them. Don't worry, it doesn't take long for the official scores to get processed.
