I am doing research on the challenges faced by OB/GYN's and I was hoping to learn more about the challenges faced by OBGYN's in rural parts of the United States. Typically, how do communicate with your patients? Do patients have to travel long distances to visit you? Are there remote diagnosis/consultation software you are using? What are some of the challenges faced by you that urban doctors do not face? How do your patients typically pay? Are they insured? Would you be interested in utilizing technology to communicate with these patients? And finally, are there other forums/resources for OBGYN's/rural doctors that could help to answer these questions? Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance!
