Hey everyone,
I am, like many of you, applying to medical school for Fall 2020. I work in a well-respected (non-clinical) research lab at Penn Med, and we are seeking a few techs to help out with experiments. We would strongly prefer people who can work full-time, which is why this is more directed toward those who have finished their undergraduate degree and are taking gap year(s) prior to medical school or otherwise. We put out a lot of publications and are very lenient when it comes to who is listed as an author in these publications, so joining our group would almost definitely put you on at least one publication (likely more if you work here a year or more). If you are interested, please send a resume and maybe a short letter about you/why you would be interested to [email protected]. For a little background on the research focuses of our group, you can look up Robert H. Mach (our P.I.) on Pubmed, look at his faculty page on the Perelman website, etc. We don't need geniuses, we're just looking for people who will be passionate/interested in their work and are willing to learn and progress into strong contributors for us. I look forward to hearing from you.
