I'm currently waitlisted at my dream school (I would eat a poop hotdog to go there), and I've played around with the idea of sending a letter of intent for a while. I finally have it written and ready to send, but I'm hesitant because the school doesn't start making calls until the beginning of June.
Should I just send it now while they're still making decisions on who to pull from the waitlist, or should I wait until the first week of June to see if they accept me? I'm thinking if I wait until June and don't hear anything the first week, I can use this LOI as a last effort to get in. I'm just worried if I send this LOI now and they don't take me later, I won't have anything else to send them. What do you guys think?
