Does a transcript need to be sent if the student withdrew from the college and never completed a course there?

What if the student is applying to the med school at that particular college?

I was going to ask that exact same question, since I withdrew from a school after less than two months, although they don't have a med school to apply to.

anyone know the answer?

If you were enrolled in the course long enough so that you had to withdraw from your courses (not just drop them) - about 2 weeks for my school - then yes, you do.

I understand that. I suppose a better question would be: Will med schools ever know that you withdrew from a school and received no credit?

Easy answer - call the school, ask if they have transcripts on file for you. If they do then yes they need to be sent. If they don't then no, you have nothing with a recorded W and don't need to.
