I guess I just wanted to start a thread about sending a thank you email to people who conducted your interview. I have just never heard it really talked about and I don't really know if it is appropriate or not. I was thinking about it a lot today because I just had an interview yesterday and the professor interviewing me gave me some really great advice about a particular topic. So I sent her a follow up email today thanking her again for the advice and saying how nice it was to meet her.
Anyways, now I am just really wondering if it was appropriate... whether it could help me or hurt me since I am still being considered for acceptance. I just wanted to get some opinions on this. Like I said, I've never really seen this discussed. What do you guys think? Is this something you guys have ever done or would you recommend it?
