Sending extra LORs okay?

I'm getting ready to finish up my secondaries, and send in my LORs. Most schools seem to want 1 or 2 science letters, plus a DO letter. I also have a letter from a medically-related volunteer position I held for two years. I feel that this will actually be my strongest letter. Is that okay to send, as well, even though they didn't ask for it?

Don't send more than their stated limit. If in doubt, ask how many is their limit.

I sent 8 (all in the packet from my premed committee) to all schools and had no issues! As long as they're strong letters, I'd send them.
