Sending LORs through Interfolio

I've got something near 20 schools that I need to send my LORs from interfolio off to. Rather than going through and hand-picking what each school wants, can I just send all my LORs to all the schools and they will sort through them and use the ones that I listed on my apps? Or will this bother the schools (I only have 4 letters I would be sending total)? And if it is ok, what will they do with the ones that they didn't ask for? Disregard them or add them to my file?

It really doesn't take that much time to go through and check them off individually. You will have to look up each school and send a separate request any way. Doing one request only takes like 30 seconds tops if they accept electronically.

I sent all 4 of my recs unless there was a 3 letter limit. Some schools say it is ok to have additional letters.

With VE, I believe it just sends one big PDF file to all the schools, with all the letters in your order of preference. According to my adviser even if schools have limits for the amount of letters they will read, they typically just disregard the ones that are in excess, and in some cases they will read them anyways. IF sends them as separate files, though?

That seems a bit lazy on your part that you would want the medical schools to do the work for you. I mean you are applying to professional schools that must be very important to you...correct? Take the time to hand pick them and take the time to get it right...the medical schools will appreciate it. I know if I received a packet of letters and was asked to sort through them I wouldn't take the time...especially when I am trying to sort through thousands of other packets from thousands of other students.
