Is it Ok to send letters via mail to schools? Has anyone done it? My school has an electronic file that they update with letters and med schools just download them and choose the letters they need.Since I have one letter meant to be sent only to DO schools, it would not be nice if that letter gets to the MD schools.Would it be OK to send the letter via mail to the DO schools and the rest have on the file. The rest of letters do not mention anything about just DO or MD interest.

😕 and I need to tell my writer today what he needs to do with letters, nice

I gave all my recommenders stamped and addressed envelopes and had them mail my letters directly to the schools. I don't think it's a big deal.

It's pretty common to do this, and there's nothing wrong with ti.

Thanks guys for your reply.Thats what I am gonna do. So, if the X schools gets the letter of recommendation from the proffesor and then goes on internet portfolio and downloads the rest of the letters and sees another letter made by the same proffesor it would not be big deal?

Does your school use virtual-evals (the program) ? that is supposed to be the preferred method of doing it this year, since the letters get there faster and they everyones letters together....

But I'm sure they can still accept letters by mail.
