After reading other threads and FAQs I am still very confused about the OAT portion of my application, and the people at OptomCAS have left me hanging for a long time as well.

I took my OAT last year and chose 5 schools to send the scores to. Two schools I am applying to now were not a part of those 5, and I am wondering if I have to send my scores to each of them. I read somewhere that once I authorize my OAT scores to be sent out to one school, they will be sent out to all schools I apply to through OptomCAS, but I have other people telling me that this is not the case and I have to pay ~$30 to send scores to each additional school. What do I do?

send an email to the three schools you originally chose when you took the OAT and make sure they got the scores... as for the others, I think only the schools you chose when you registered for the OAT will receive them so you might have to pay for the scores to be sent to those two new ones (though you can always email them too just to double check they don't have them)

This was in several emails that I received from schools after submitting my application:

If you took the OAT exam prior to June 19, 2017 and want your scores submitted to OptomCAS, you will need to submit a request for an additional score report.

So your scores haven't been sent yet, you need to go to the OAT website and request score reports for the schools you are applying to. You do have to pay extra which is unfortunate. That's what I had to do even though when I took the OAT I selected schools like you did.

That's what I thought as well since I took my OAT in January, but I had all the schools selected at the time i registered for the test. I emailed the schools I ended up applying to to double check and they all received them, I didn't have to pay again

If I'm retaking the OAT, do I have to send all previous attempts to the schools who I didn't select last cycle for the scores to be sent to? Or can I just send the new scores and be ok?
