Hello !
I was wondering what people’s thoughts were on sending an update letter to a school now (ie very late in the cycle). I feel I do have enough to warrant detailing a new activity, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a huge update like a publication or something of the like. I’m on the waitlist for this school and am worried it’s a bad look to send it so late. I have 2 weeks until my other school’s CTE deadline, so it feels a bit like a “last hurrah.” Should I hold off or is it worth a shot ?
Thanks for any insight.

If you're waitlisted at a school that still accepts application updates, and your CTE date at another medical school hasn't passed yet, you still have an opportunity to strengthen your waitlist position. Additionally, you should communicate your CTE date to the waitlisted school - this lets them know exactly when they need to make a decision if they want to offer you a spot before you're committed elsewhere.

Also flesh out the reasons why ypu want to attend this particular school
