First, I've already been accepted. Just wondering when do I need to sent in the transcript? Do i sent in at the end of this semester or do i sent in after next semester ? or both?

I'm hoping to sent in at the end of senior because I totally screw up this semester....getting a D in molecular genetics.

For juniors reading this, don't let senioritis get to you. I'm having more pain over this than last year when I'm studying my ass off.

I totally understand you, it's 2 am in here and I am reading about Egypt (one of my classes) Seniorities made me open the book only about 3 hours ago and the final is tomorrow Oh boy!
To answer your question I believe AASDAS will send you an envelope / or request to attach your grades. If this is not the case then call the school but I think you need to send your grades at the end of this semester. I might be wrong though.
Hope you do ok on that molec genetics class.

but if you are already accepted and have sent in your deposit why would it be necessary to send this semester grades through aadsas? couldn't you just deal directly though the school and explain the circumstance of the poor grades and your resolution for next semester? anyone have knowledge on this subject?

My letter of acceptance says that they still want transcript from me. But didn't clarify specifically when... don't know whether it's the end of this semester or next semester...
Current dental students, plz help me out here...thanks

I know that Tufts wants my transcripts by August. It may be different for different schools. Best bet would be to either email or call them and ask.

I dont know if I need to send in another set of transcripts because I havent taken any new courses since my last transcript I sent. I'll call and see what they say.

USC and Tufts said send my final transcript to them by Auguest. So, I think final transcript before maltriculum is fine. Ask the school you want to go for sure.

Thanks guys for your input. I hope they allow me sent it at august and not like immediately. This would give me more time to raise my gpa little and compensate for my poor gpa this semester. :)

Has anyone heard of a person actually getting rejected his acceptance because his grades dropped? Do the dental schools really do this or they say do not drop your grades just to scare you?

I have heard of them pulling one girl out of the entering class. She had Physics II left to take and got an F in the course. I think as long as you pass all your classes you should be fine. I don't think the dental schools would like to see straight C's on your final transcript but as long as you get decent grades, maybe one C here or there, you should be all right.

Good question, I've asked this question in the earlier thread. But nobody really came forward with a single case this occuring. Hope there just isn't any.

For the girl who got denied for the F in the physics II is totally understandable, since the course is a prerequisite for dental school admissions. But does anyone know if there's anybody who got denied of previous admission due to poor porformance in non-prerequisite courses?

The admission letter indicates that all they need is to "PASS" the pre-required courses. So, I think even straight Cs are still acceptable.

I ever heard that a person did not pass the immune system check, and he was rejected to register. I don't know this guy, but I heard the news from my club member.

makes sense for schools to require one, although no one has mentioned this before.
