Sequelae from Bicip. Tendon Rupture?

Is anyone aware of an increased risk for future short-head injuries in patients (particularly younger patients who will remain active/physical) with complete long-head ruptures?

just tried to find something on it but there is very limited literature on it. it would make sense that if there was an association, it would be reported in the literature. interesting question.
