Hey I am wondering if any of you have experience or knowledge on my situation.

Basically I am enrolled at a community college right now, but in order to get into my major at the university I want to attend I will need to apply for spring quarter.

My concern is that I will need to take the last part of both biology and physics at the university while the first two parts(req. for admission) are at the community college.

I have looked at the med school webpages and seen that they prefer that you finish series/sequence courses at one institution.

So will it matter that much? I could see if I got an A at the cc course but a C- at the university course that would be cause for concern, but other than grade wise, will taking them "split" up matter much?

If you get high grades in both the CC and then the University course, you should be fine. Especially if you follow it up with a good performance on the MCAT.

Do your best to achieve high grades in both courses. Keep in mind you may have to work harder to achieve the same results in a university class of a higher level.

Make sure you take advantage of office hours and tutors to remedy any knowledge gaps, and get a feel of the professor's exam style (from previous students).

Remember that grades are what matter, not really the sequence. Even if you get a B, don't sweat it too much and work your absolute hardest on the MCAT.
