UMN is supposed to be pretty good in that respect. offers a lot of cummunity service and outreach progs acc to my research. So does pennsylvania.. u have to do a mandatory externship in an underserved community nationally or internationally..Saw many threads about "Best Clinical Schools" and whatnot, but couldn't find one about schools that are very community service oriented. I'm the sort that will rely on this kind of thing and I'd like to see what's out there!
Thanks.
I think you would have a good shot if you clearly state your service mission in several places in your application. Ohio's admissions office is very friendly, you should give them a call and explain your situation and interest. I know that they definitely look for service-minded applicants. Here is their contact info: http://dent.osu.edu/Contact_Us.php#admissionsI'm definitely interested in a service orientated school. My GPA is on the low side though, do you think I have a chance with a 3.0, and 500+ Hours of community service to either Ohio or UMN? (Also completed 20 credits of my SMP with a 4.0, studying for DAT, aiming 20+ every section)
@ToothbrushBuddy and @ktran17 ?
