hi i been on here for a while had to re register as i forgot all my log in info grr. anyways reason i am bothering you lovely ob/gyns is to help settle a debate heres the debate. we have a scenario a girl is pregnant and we're trying to geuss how far along she is the only info we have is the expected due date and the date of intercourse the due date is march 28th 2008 the date of intercourse july 1st 2007 team one says 22 weeks team 2 says 26 weeks as of dec 21st team one thinks there is no way 26 weeks could be valid due to the info of 2 weeks 2 conception. anyways any help would be appreciated to settle this pretty please (huge suck up face) THANKS! theres a wii on the line here ha ha ha

Get a size and date ultrasound and go with the EDC.
People are confused and they don't always either know or tell the truth.

Hell better yet, why not just get a measuring tape and do a fundal height. Nothing says HOLIDAY FUN more than a game of guess my conception date😀

All kidding a side, slap a sono on that belly, confirm the dates and then the only thought that SHOULD be on team 1 and 2's heads is that its a healthy baby!

Still say get the ultrasound. But with the information you're giving us:

Estimated due date: 03/28/2008
LMP: 06/21/2007
Date of conception: Somewhere between July 1-5'ish (making some assumptions)
Currently (as of 12/23/07): She is 26 weeks 3 days
If you touch her belly, the top of her uterus will be about 6 centimeters above the belly button...

I also don't understand the portion in your post about the team not understanding conception after 2 weeks? You ovulate generally 14 days after your period, which in this case would equal to conception.

Anyhow, too much OB stuff for me on my vacation. Back to egg nog! Cheers!

thanks for that what there unsure about is if u had sex july 1st u can be pregnant as soon as the 5th from info we gatherd on basic websites there saying it would be more like july 10th but hey thanks anyway enjoy your egg nog and holidays 😀
