(1) I have overall 3.71 sGPA and 3.76 overall GPA. But my upper level sGPA is 3.83 and overall upper level GPA is 3.81. Are med schools going to put me in a 3.8 to 4.0 range or just in a 3.6 to 3.79 range and consider an upward trend?

(2) Summa Cum Laude, any help?

(3) I have 12 credits from research. Do med schools consider it as a grade inflation on BCPM GPA?

1) For the most part, initially you'll be judged by overall undergrad GPA. Some schools give less weight to the freshman year. All schools will appreciate an upward grade trend.

2) No, lots of us have that so it doesn't make us special. Schools define it differently, so it's easier for them to judge by GPA.

3) No.
