Shadow for how many days?

Hi everyone,

For those of you who have shadowed doctors, how long did you do it for? I shadowed a peds. resident for 1 day, and doctors at a hospital in vietnam for 1 month. I would like to arrange shadowing over break, but I don't know for how long. What have most of you done?
