Do schools place different emphasis on the quality of shadowing based on the environment? I was able to find a psychiatrist to shadow in a nursing home, but due to HIPAA regulations, it was restrictive based on what type of patients I was allowed to be near. I wanted to find psychiatrists in private practice or in the emergency room but I have had no luck so far.
