Hey guys! I've been reading these forums for a while and they have been very helpful for learning about PM&R! I'm a first year medical student and have become (nearly) obsessed with the field; I find it very interesting. Only problem being, I'm in the Baltimore area and while there are a few PM&R docs around, the ones I've tried to contact are hard to catch. They seem to be pretty busy. Does anyone have any contacts around the Baltimore area who would be willing to allow an MSI shadow them? I figure a connection may help a bit 🙂

the author or PM&R secrets practices in Baltimore. I cant quite remember anymore if it is Mark Young or Bryan O'Young, but when I was a medical student I called him and he was very responsive and encouraging to me regarding shadowing him.

There are also three major residency programs in the area that might facilitate a observership or volunteer opportunity including Hopkins, Sinai and GTUH/NRH

Try the AAPMR mentor database to start - even if that "mentor" is still a resident, he/she can point you to the right people.:luck:
