Shadowing Question?

What it be a bad idea to write in one of my activities boxes that I shadowed my father, a MD, as part of my shadowing box, or is anything related to a family member not related.

personally i don't see anything wrong with shadowing family, and using their connections to your advantage.

Why dont you just say:

Shadowed Family medicine - 40 hours (dates). Why include names?

I think that only applies to LORs,... LORs from Dad never work.
