Thanks. Michigan's new requirements listed in red in that link, it is 100 hours.

I have a feeling this is going to twist a few people's plans for the semester.

No but generally the dentist you shadow is the dentist who writes your LOR. In the LOR, they usually write the number of hours that you shadowed there.

If I work as a dental assistant for a general dentist, could that count as "shadowing". I will be getting all the same experiences as those who shadow except this way I get hands on experience.

If I'm totally wrong, please let me know.
