Hello all you wise SDN forum speakers - I was wondering if anyone could shed some insight into shelf exams. i.e. are they from NBME? In such a case, is it better to study lec notes from class or BRS? Any comments would be greatly appreciated-!

The shelfs are bought by medical schools from NBME and thus you can find the breakdown of what topics are covered on the NBME website

for studying purposes, there are a bunch of different resources that you can utilize which range from High Yield books, First Aid, BRS, etc but very few use class notes since they aren't really made for studying for boards
