i don't want to wolf read mel because he'll kill me tonight. but the sudden improvement in his ability to read me is confusing.
Joke's on you, I'm killing you tonight anyway because you said the prophecy foretold your death N2 and me winning.

she feels different from what i expect D1. i don't usually have a problem reading her when she's village, even if everyone else leans her wolf, and something just feels different.
Baa-aaa-aaa?

I don't think I feel particularly good about moving anyone into solid village yet

Zenge - village lean. I think I got spooked by the late vote last night, and while I'm not going to forget about it, I think the tone, reactions, and reads list I've seen from him today are more villagey and more significant. I'm reading Mel wolfy and I don't think they're w/w. In the post he made after yeet close, the seemingly genuine indecisiveness about early reads fits his village meta as opposed to forcing reads when he's wolfing.

Dubz - village side of neutral. D1 friskiness NAI, tone sounds good, I liked her reads list. There are a couple of her takes I haven't completely agreed with, but I tend to pick up false wolf vibes from her early in games, and she's shared her thought process.

AM - mayyybbee a little villagey-neutral. Didn't agree with her Zenge defense reasoning last night, and has an aversion to peacefully discussing with me for whatever reason. I'm trying not to let frustration cloud my judgement and otherwise her tone has been villagey. Points go both ways, but if I take out the frustration about her being difficult to talk to, then maybe the read goes a little more villagey.

Paws - had her as very slightly wolfy side of neutral, now neutral. Didn't like the "Does Dubz do this as a villager too? Yes? Eh, well, the vote is where it is" vibe, but I like her Mel take and she sounds a bit better tonight. I haven't played with her enough to know what to expect. Trying not to give an unrealistic village point for the amusing gif

Cray - neutral, really nothing at all to go off of

Genny - wolfy side of neutral. The transition from what felt like a decent conversation to "Yeah, April's gotta go" felt unnatural, as if she felt like she needed to place a vote and just chose someone who had been on the thread enough to justify a read. I really would like to see more from her

Bob - wolf lean. A couple things today still made me go hmm, the reasoning for his Zenge placement on his list being one of them. I did appreciate that he understood where I felt stuck yesterday because of the simultaneously too sketchy and not sketchy enough, but that's an easy way to buy brownie points without having to do anything about it. Took note that he singled out Dubz for strong defense even though other strong defenses had happened. Disagree with his village Mel read.

Mel - wolf read. Wasn't a huge fan of that reads list. Something about the "deciding whether or not to policy yeet you" post felt very off - forced, opportunistic. Felt weird about the back and forth with Zenge this morning. The way he gave Genny village points felt a little too easy.

for the record, I'll p!vote anyone regardless of affiliation. I was pretty much p!voting you in the last game I wolfed because I still stand by what I said then. Sitting around asking people why they're voting someone instead of directly evaluating the player in question is bad villaging and at worst a wolf trying to pull people off of a vote.

I don't exactly follow this from you because I know you've also said it's bad villaging for people just make their reads without discussion instead of asking questions and conversing with people.

Discussing your OWN read (informed by questioning the subject and your own evaluation) WITH people is good play and literally what helps form the village bloc. You can't just do the latter without first having something to bring to the table and compare. In that game there was a lot of you asking around for why wolf!genny was being voted for but not a whole lot of you doing your own evaluating. Don't want to take up too much thread space discussing other games so I'll debate ww theory with you in the sign up thread if you'd like, but TME is someone who is really good at this. In that game I wolfed, I complimented her for it afterwards. In the last game, TME was the only person I could village read at end game because she's good at doing what I'm talking about.

April is trending down for me so I expect sharp improvement soon or I'm moving there.
I was uncomfortable with her delayed self-prez which I've seen her do as a wolf multiple times before. My April read has not evolved. I'm in the same spot as I was earlier with her.
Zenge
genny
dubz
April
Bob
Paws
Mel
Cray
Can we talk about the evolution of your April read? She went from you almost moving your vote to yeet her to her being 4th from the top. What all changed in your read?

Why is Cray at the bottom with almost nothing to go on?

The disappointing reality is my list is nearly all neutral outside of you. Cray placement is due to the current discomfort I feel voting those who've been talking to me.

I interpreted it as joking about the current vote tally where no one had more than 1 vote on them
Wonder if Bob keeps this up. Last game he wolfed I was much more easily able to tell when he was joking or serious. Not sure if this will be a consistent tell but want to note this.

Hmmm I'm going a bit back and forth on April but I don't think my reading card on her usually activates until after d1 so that's probably fine

Cray absenteeism has been more of her village thing lately. Has she wolfed since she got super busy with baby things? Can't remember.

Blobs feels like his village self and it's nice to see more normal posts from AM about him.

genny seems good

I likely won't be around to warn you guys about what happens when I vote for someone d1, so just keep that in mind for yourselves, k?
I have definitely wolfed since being pregnant, but admittedly I was probably less stressed than I am now at like T minus 6 weeks to exploding.

Not sure I agree. Someone sitting on a joke vote throughout the day isn’t much different from someone not voting most of the day.
Wrong. They still have put their vote where their mouth is. Wolves having to commit to votes is key. Admittedly it's less useful when villagers RVS D1 (random vote). But wolves have the gift of knowledge so theoretically there's no such thing as a random vote from a wolf, there's always a bias. The key will be seeing if this becomes more clear with time.

Interesting. Any more thinking on why?
I was caught up to where genny voted April and thought it was the wolfiest thing I had seen to that point. On catching up now, not so sure. I wanted to be sure to drop a vote at the very least D1, even if it was a bit RVS. Without seeing more was not loving a D1 Bob or MsP yeet so didn't add on there. Same with WZ. You could make a case for if a genny D1 yeet is also bad, but she wasn't in great danger with my vote. If it had led to a last minute waffle wagon on genny, that itself would have been informative. So all around felt that vote there had more to add to the game than my doing totally nothing, despite my not being caught up.

So sorry I sorta ****ed off D1 of the game guys. I'm here, I'm trying.

Yeet close TODAY @ 10PM ET NOW
Oh, I was wrong about WZ being up. I wasn't caught up when I voted, I think last I saw WZ was in the tie. Or else it was April. In any case, an April D1 yeet isn't that appealing either on its face if you're not caught up, she has had a history of being a bad D1 misyeet.

I see now that April's vote switch was self prez

It came out of left field. This is the first time she's mentioned genny so I'm looking for reasoning.
That's fair. I didn't like the way she dropped the vote on April so early in game after the exchange she had with her. This was before I got caught up past where genny had voted and saw more reasoning and posting by April.

That had me feeling less sure about either genny or April
