I can't figure out what claim someone would think is compatible since all he said was that he was the night kill. You don't just let someone fakeclaim without least saying something, especially if it's not one hit. What's the worst that happen? Wolves clearly can't kill you afterwards.

I had him as village before the claim.

I think I would feel more comfortable with this line of discussion if you had mentioned that maybe zenge just changed their mind between the posts, since I at least have already considered that.

No one else was claiming to be your mason. So I wasn't up against any fakeclaims.

...if you're aware enough of the thing to purposefully do the thing and Paws knows you know what the thing is then why would doing the thing change her read of you...

I wouldn’t sleep on an early wolfpack decision to pass on NK just to claim village cred. Reveal special ability that some may find questionable to reveal. Then vouch for packmate.
