The biggest reason I see is that it's not a one hit ability or they thought that his claim was compatible with them. Is zenge a village lean or better for you?

I can't figure out what claim someone would think is compatible since all he said was that he was the night kill. You don't just let someone fakeclaim without least saying something, especially if it's not one hit. What's the worst that happen? Wolves clearly can't kill you afterwards.
I had him as village before the claim.

People opt to choose to not say things for lots of reasons. I think I would feel more comfortable with this line of discussion if you had mentioned that maybe zenge just changed their mind between the posts, since I at least have already considered that.

No that's not what I meant. I meant zenge could have been weirded by gennys post and then changed their mind to deciding it was worth putting the info out there. That is also a possibility.

I wouldn’t sleep on an early wolfpack decision to pass on NK just to claim village cred. Reveal special ability that some may find questionable to reveal. Then vouch for packmate.
