I am a sophomore now about to be junior in the fall and I have a GPA of 3.74 and a sGPA of 3.71 I took the DAT and got a 22AA/21TS/20PAT. I have a lot of research experience with a publication. A moderate amount of Extra curriculars and leadership. No volunteering. And 50 hours shadowing. Could I get in?

Go for it, I think some schools want a degree so make sure you apply to the right schools. There are a few people on SDN that were accepted this cycle that are early applicants.

I mean, if you are prepared to give up your senior year then your stats are very impressive! Idk but now after getting in, there's a part of me that wishes she took another year off haha. I mean I got my degree and stayed in college for 4 years (traditional route) but I'm a little younger than most people in my class (21) and I just feel like I should have enjoyed my time in undergrad longer.... starting d-school July 1st and I just got finished with my finals lol

I had a friend (well, not really a friend. more like an acquaintance) that i graduated high school with. went to the same school since middle school. huge bookworm and nerd. slightly socially ******ed. but he graduated in the top 4 in our class. went to college and worked his butt off there. now he lives in switzerland, works at CERN, and makes a high 6-figure salary...in euros.

as he put it to a bunch of our fellow high school classmates: "it's a lot more fun to party when you have money." keep working hard. 4 short years of hard work (plus another 4 short years plus maybe 2 if you specialize) will set you up for the chance at the next 50 years of comfortable living.
