I had a pretty rough academic year last year ( family health/bankruptcy). My science grades really tanked. I'll be a junior this year. My GPA will probably be about a 3.45 by the end of the year. I haven't taken the MCAT but I have taken the Kaplan course and my scores have been in the mid 30 range (34-35) (11V 12 B 12P) . I'm guessing I'll get between +/- 5 of that score when I take the MCAT in January or April. My science GPA is probably going to be a 3.1 at the end of Junior year. My major GPA is a 3.89 though. I go to an ivy league school. I am looking at Drexel's, Tufts, Columbia's SMP, and Georgetown's SMP post-bacs. Is this a good move?

Provided that everything else on your application (besides your sciGPA) is good, you could probably apply liberally to med schools and not even have to do SMP. Make sure to get a great MCAT score, apply to a lot of schools and an SMP to be cautious, and hope for the best.

On the other hand, if you're willing to do SMP, the ones you mentioned look okay. Good luck.
