im a second semester freshmen in college, i took precalculus last semester and failed it, and im retaking it this semester, i just bombed the final, im in risk of failing precalculus AGAIN ugh, does this look really bad? like do adcoms really care for precalculus, i know they do for calc, but what about for precal? does it affect my sci gpa? because its killing my overall.. please any advice would be appreciated

yes it looks bad, yes it affects your science gpa.
BUT you still have a long ways to go and many more science classes to take. start getting serious and study better.

I am sorry but it does look kind of bad to fail the same class twice. How are the rest of your classes? You should have learned from the first F you received. I believe your precalc grade will affect your overall GPA.

To be honest, you shouldn't be having any trouble with precalculus. There are much tougher classes out there that you still need to take.

first i want to say thank you for responding and for the advice i appreciate it.
but i have only taken chem 1(this semester) and im going to pull an A most likely, i aced all my exams this semester, i wil be talking chem 2 over the summer and bio in the fall, im just not good in math period that is why im struggling but i do need to study better it just sucks i should have been more serious about it

Who told you adcoms care about calc but not pre-calc?

I don't think adcoms care that much about any math course. HOWEVER, they will raise eyebrows when they see you took the same class twice and failed it.

Anyways, its not the end of the world, just be more serious with future classes.... and stop failing lol
