Medical Should I choose UCI vs. UCSD for Pre-med?

Hi, Thank you so much for the advice in advance!

I got into UCI and UCSD for Pre-med (Both Biology Majors), but I cannot decide which school will give me the best chance of getting into a medical school in California. Help is much appreciated

Equally good. There is no "right" answer, ultimately you have to go with your gut.

Do you want to live in/around Irvine? Or do you want to live in/around San Diego? That's your answer here.

Both are amazing schools. Personally, I would choose Irvine based on UCSD being known to be more pre-med heavy (which makes it tougher to get a stellar GPA). Also, Irvine medical school not AS competitive to get into as UCSD.

Flip a coin, but it really depends on what you do with your opportunities at each school and the support you get from peers and prehealth advisors.
