I'm not sure how valuable my response here is...
But you are in the minority of applicants to get a spot. I would take it and run. Research can be continued during the summer. If not, I really think you should give up the spot to someone currently WL'ed and dying for an acceptance notification. And if the latter is the case, you should do so as soon as possible.
