so i am taking a behavioral neuroscience class which counts as a psych class since psych is my major and the grading is as follows: your highest test will count 45% your second highest 30% and your least 25%. I got a 60 on the first test since i realized I studied a bit too late than I should have for so much material. I did the calculations and I need to get 2 100's on the next exams for me to have a 90 average. I told this to my prof and she said to come meet with her on thursday to talk. I don't want to drop this class because I like it a lot but I hope I can get some extra credit or something. Help

Unless you are are freshman, you should have known that tests in college COUNT and grades are everything. If you have straight As or something and are afraid of this ruining your GPA, then yes, drop it but if the professor seems lenient then I guess you should really try your hardest to get those 100s or high 90s.

I am sympathetic to your plight but I do not know exactly how we can help you. Obviously the first thing is seeing what your professor says.

What is your GPA? Is there room to fit this class in in a later semester? Is this class required for your major?

If your GPA is doing fine, taking a B in there probably would not be a very big deal, less of a deal than a W.

my GPA is a 3.4. the class is an elective for my major.

Hmm. 3.4 is not great. See what your professor says.
