Should I email schools about my status?

I have an interview at IU for an alternate position in February, but am still "Under Review" with Louisville, Midwestern, Mercy, UMDNJ, Buffalo, Marquette, and OHSU.

Is it too soon at start asking them about my chances? I don't wanna come off desperate or impatient but the wait's starting to get to me

I know for OHSU they send out two emails, one indicates that they cannot make a decision at this time (soft rejection) and the other says you are among a pool of highly competitive applicants from which they normally send invites. Hope this helps!

you should call or email them. I am currently waitlisted at 6 schools and kept in contact with them since Dec 3rd.
