This could get a bit tricky, I've seen a previous post on something similar.
I'm taking addition courses to boost my BCP and Science GPAs. One course I'd love to take is Human Evolution, which is listed under the Anthropology department. Clearly it is a science course so I believe it should count toward my BCP GPA. Should I help myself out and list it under:
#2683 on AADSAS : Evolution
or
#4501 : Anthropology
It seems like a minor detail but for my app it could be the difference between getting accepted or not. One of my undergrad degrees was in biological anthropology, so courses dealing with human biology and evolution. I also took courses in the bio department and the ones in the anthro department were just as if not more science oriented. Basically if I count my bio-anthro courses as science onces it boosts my science GPA from 2.8 to about 3.2. As you can see with a 22 DAT this could be all the difference.
So I'm taking this matter very seriously but of course I don't want to do something incorrect or unethical. Any advice here?
If the course title was blatantly different I'd be more hesitant, but how can human evolution not fall under evolution?
