Hi

So my undergraduate institution offers a bioethics minor, and I'm interested in pursuing it. However, how is the minor weighted in medical school applications? Is it worth pursuing? Or will it be brushed aside?

Thanks
Do it because you are interested in the subject matter. No adcom really cares about minors.

Many med schools include ethics scenarios in their interview process. If you took coursework in Bioethics, you would have an advantage responding to them. Exposure to this discipline would also put you in good stead in med school and early residency, by which time your peers will probably catch up with your knowledge base though the provided training and practical experience.
