Hi there, I haven't calculated my GPA yet but I'm pretty sure it'll be near the 3.3-3.4 overall and low 3.0 for science. I haven't taken the DAT yet. My list so far is:

University of Pacific - I know they want 20+ on DAT
NOVA southeastern
Boston University
Tufts University
Creighton University
New York University
Case School of Dental Medicine
Temple University

This doesn't seem to be that many right now. Is there any other schools you would recommend me applying to? Thanks a lot. 🙂

edit: I was thinking of applying to the following state schools:
Pittsburgh, Maryland, Louisville, Marquette
Is that a waste of time/money?

What state do you live in?
Even if you don't have a state school, some states have deals like WICHE.

not sure what state you live in, but i would recommend applying to your state school (it can be so much cheaper)

Marquette is not a state school, it is a private school. They do get funding by WI, and have to take 40 WI residents and 40 out of state students. But those are pretty good numbers, when you compare it to most state schools. It is worth a visit, and possibly adding to your list.

Hi, sorry I forgot to add that I am a U.S. citizen born in Wisconsin. However, I haven't lived in the States since I was 2 so I don't really have a state. Thanks for the answers so far tho 👍

Assuming your DAT's, essay, and extra-currics are solid, yours is a good list.

Like Marquette, Pittsburgh is not a state school either. However, if you can establish PA residency, there is a subsidy from the state for PA residents that attend there. So tuition would be slightly less for a PA resident. As I recall, but don't quote me, it was around $6K. Unlike Marquette, I don't believe Pitt shows any admissions preference to PA residents -- but there were quite a few Pitt undergrads there when I interviewed.
