Yes, you should include them, just as you should include hobbies, artistic endeavors, teaching experiences, and leadership that is unrelated to medicine. Adcomms like to know what keeps you busy, and even if you can't see it, there are characteristics demonstrated by internship involvements (and the other experiences I listed) that are also traits desirable in a future doc.
