Hi all:

I went to talk to the admissions of one of our schools here in NC. I told the advisor that I did my undergrad in Elect. Engineering a while back (1997) and I got C in one of my Physics classes. (I got much worse in other subjects too).

She suggested that I should re-take physics because I don't want to show any C in any of the pre-req courses. If I get A in physics, it will look better.

My overall GPA in my undergrad was horrible (just below 3.0). But I am doing very well in my post-bacc courses. My plan was to review Physics on my own and also take princeton review class next year.

But according to her, perhaps I should also take physics. I really don't want to.

I am curous how other schools will look at my previous coursework.

Any advice, suggestions would be appreciated.

Take care.

If you are doing well in post bacc courses, theres no need to retake your C physics. thats proof enough that u're making things right. anyways, its not like masking one C will compensate for your undergrad gpa
