So, I'm in my junior year and I have two Cs. One in Genetics and another in Orgo2. I know for sure i'm not going to repeat Orgo (once was enough torture for me) but i'm considering maybe retaking Genetics this summer. The thing is I don't know if it's worth repeating it or just take a new course and get an A in that new course. I got both Cs in my sophmore year (it was a specially difficult time for me) but my first and third year grades are fine. I don't know if I should just move on or try and fix the past damage..

what do you think?

Retaking Genetics is a fine idea, but if you don't do very well, it will not look good. If you think it's risky to retake (and face it, the second round won't be a cakewalk either) it would be better to take another upper-level Bio and ace it to preserve your upward grade trend.

You might also consider taking Biochem, if you haven't, to redeem the OChem II grade.

thanks for the advice, Cat. I'm actually taking biochem this semester and so far i'm doing good so that's good to hear.
