6. -150 hours of hospital volunteering, just started as MA in neurology office, club at school that has clinical hours with patient surveys and shadowing for social determinants of health
7. 1 yr of research in alcohol disease lab (abstract + paper to be published), 1 yr in neuro lab (paper to be published)
8. Shadowing -20 hrs w general surgeon, -20 hrs w endocrinologist -40 hrs with neurologist
9. Philanthropy intern for 1 yr at tutoring company (rly lacking here)
10. Opinion writer for school paper for 4 yrs, philanthropy director for sorority, tutor for -3 years
11. Award for undergrad research

As long as your OOS list is at least twice as long and thoughtful as your IS list, there is a good chance that you could have success without a re-take.
Your shadowing is missing at least 20 hours with a primary care doc.

I know I am severely lacking in that area, but trying to get volunteer opportunities through school this year. Do you think that holds my application back a lot?
