I received:
Verbal ability 48
Biology 66
Reading 52
Quantitative 62
Chemistry 81
Composite 65

When I took this i had only taken Bio 1 (no anatomy, micro, etc)
I'm positive i could receive higher scores overall and especially in the bio section.
I'm applying to schools this fall, i was just wondering would taking it again increase my chances if the rest of my app is already pretty competitive?

depends what school you are wanting to go to, to be honest. What are your other stats?

and just curious, what did you study for the pcat?

Everyone has different approaches towards applying to pharmacy school. Some people perform the bare minimum and hope to get accepted. Others try to go above and beyond those minimum requirements to "guarantee" their acceptance.

Is your score decent? Yes. Is it great? No. Can you get accepted with this score? Sure, depending on the rest of your application.

However, if "[You're] positive [you] could receive higher scores overall and especially in the bio section." ... I don't know why you wouldn't retake it.

Thanks for the replies, and i guess i will retake it. I have to work to support myself while going to school, so i just didn't want to pay for another test if i didn't need to, but it is worth it since i can do better.

And i only used the kaplan book to study.
