Should I submit my AMCAS today, or take a few days to make it better?

My AMCAS is arguably done, but I want to make it even better. I cranked out the activities really fast, for instance. I think my PS is good, but I also feel like I didn't revise it very much.

Here is the question: How much does it matter if I submit today (June 29), versus in 2 days (July 1), versus like July 10?

I know how much better it can be in 2 days, and I know how much better it can be in 10 days. In order to do a cost-benefit analysis, I need to know how beneficial it is to be early.

My transcript has already been marked received by AMCAS. My LORs are all done.

So yeah, how should I approach the cost-benefit calculation for polishing up my AMCAS? Am I screwing myself if I submit on July 10 when I am arguably done now?

Make sure your app is 100% ready. Two days isn't going to kill your chances

Look at it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again

Make sure you don't make a mistake like grammar, spelling, names, dates, formatting, etc. Print it out and look at it.

Have at least two outside readers that have a good grasp of mechanics, spelling, and range of vocabulary. Consider an advisor, old English teacher, or writing center. Particularly review the dates and total hours calculations to be sure they are accurate. Print out a copy from the Main menu>Print>PDF view to check spacing, to be sure nothing at the end of a space got cut off, and that there are no weird characters that don't belong.

I found that printing my entire app off BEFORE I submitted was a significant game-changer. For me at least, having it all on paper in front of me, allowed me to carefully go through it and check every single character. It's easy to miss stuff staring at a computer screen.
