The vet schools I plan on applying to have announced that they will accept pass/fail grades for this spring semester because of COVID-19. I have a class that I may get a C in and was wondering if vet school would prefer a C, or a P on a transcripts. I also don't want my GPA to drop. So I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place and I am just looking for some opinions.
If they accept P/F for this semester and the C would cause your GPA to drop significantly, I would opt for a P over a C. Granted in that case you may want to take all classes this semester P/F or be able to defend why you opted to take that course P/F instead of for a letter grade later on

Considering the measures being adopted for COVID, I would take the P. If you need to sleep on it, the issue is that the online experience just isn't the in-person and that study habits and the changeover chaos add to the cognitive burden. I would not hold it against yourself.
