Should I take Chem over the summer?

I am taking the DATs in August, but I have not taken General Chemistry in about 5 years!!
I don't remember a thing...Do you guys think it is a good idea to sit in on a summer course of Gen Chemistry at the university I am at (just sit in on the lectures), or should I just learn out of kaplan??

I would definitely retake the Chem course unless you think you could just study a chem book by yourself and relearn the material. Five years is a pretty long time though. I think it would be well worth the money to retake at least one semester of chem before taking the DAT.
