Alright, I plan to go for a PhD in Neuroscience. I'm sure some of the requirements for Clinical Psych are different, but this seciton of the forum seems to be most similar.

Anyways, I'm graduating in May, and am wondering what to do after I graduate. I have applied for research assistant positions, but just in case i dont get one im thinking of taking courses.

typically speaking, when colleges ask for "Mathematics through Calculus" do they want a full year of Calc, or just a half year?

I'm wondering because I want to get Physics and Calc out of the way, but that could be overbearing for one summer.

Just my opinion, but for neuro I would definitely err on the side of more math.

Wave form analysis can get very mathematically complicated very fast. "Necessary" is probably not the word to use, but I think a solid math background would be very helpful.

My guess would be that "through calculus" means through the entire sequence, which, at my school, is three semesters.

Good luck!
