Should I talk about my shortcomings in my supplemental?

Not the entire supplemental of course, but just one question from it. Here it is:

My shortcoming is my lack of extracurriculars. I really don't have a good reason for it besides being lazy. But every time I look back, I regret not doing more like joining clubs, doing more volunteering, etc.. Perhaps I should talk about regretting not doing more? lol.

all i have is:
pharmacy tech experience since june 07
hospital volunteering since summer 2009

I haven't suffered any financial hardships or had to overcome anything dramatic in my life. I get pretty much the same grades every semester throughout my college career (3.5 yrs, one semester until BS in biochem!)

And ignore the sdsdsdsdsdsd. I was trying to see what the max word count was. 🙂

A lack of participation in extra-curricular activities is not a shortcoming you had to overcome. The question is asking about what obstacles you as an individual faced on your path to pharmacy school, and you're sure to raise some eyebrows if you put "being too lazy to participate" in the same category as a death in the family or a learning disability.

thanks for the response. of course, i wasn't going to put to "being too lazy to participate" but i agree that lack of participation is not a shortcoming i had to overcome.

since i can't really focus on the hardship aspect of the question, i guess i can focus on my strengths. i'm just worried that doing so will result in a personal statement rehash

random: phathead. i've read your blog. some really good stuff in there 🙂 good luck in your future endeavors.
