Hey yall, My school is on the semester system and we finish finals the last week of May. Since the application cycle opens this summer on the first week of June, can I send my transcripts without my spring 2013 grades updated?

I already have all my prereqs done and plenty of major classes like, qchem, physio, pchem 1&2, and biochem 1. The only science classes I'm taking this semseter are biochem 2 and its lab.

If I do decide to not update my spring 2013 grades before sending my transcript, will updating my grades affect my calculated aadsas grades?

btw, my gpa is in a good area and will only change slightly

Yeah the updated transcript will change your calculated aadsas grades.

But as far as I know, you're only allowed to update the application once, and it is usually in the Dec-Jan timeframe. So, I would say just wait the extra week or two. Make sure the school sends it out as soon as the grades are official. Would it matter a ton if you submitted the app without it? I don't think so...as long as you have all prereqs like you say. But were only talking a week or two longer, still at the very beginning of the cycle, so I would say wait.

Personally, if I was in your shoes, I would just send that ASAP(assuming, as you said, a good GPA). I mean it would be only matter of whether you are 1st batch or 3rd batch (which is still early). It's really your call. I really see no difference there.
