I plan on submitting my AMCAS in early June. But my transcript won't be updated with spring grades until 6/11. Will this delay my GPA verification? I heard it takes AMCAS like 4 weeks to verify your GPA.

I'm thinking of just sending my transcript in 6/1 without the spring update. If I do this, will I be able to update AMCAS in June when my spring grades come out?

Do I wait until 6/11 to send in my transcript or just submit in 6/1? The problem is I'm looking at a GPA change of .07, which is a lot I guess. Help.

Same here. Since I'm on the quarter system I have to wait until mid-late June for the Spring grades to come out. But in reading some of the previous posts on this subject, it appears that even if you apply mid-late June you're still "safe". Would being verified around mid-July put anyone at a disadvantage?

Yeah, I'm in the same situation here. Is it really THAT important to get everything in the minute the application is open? I am not doubting people who say it is, I just would like to hear the rationale behind it.

It is a double edged sword...

I applied before grades came out because I knew my GPA would fall...and it did😳 If you are sure you will get good grades, then wait, otherwise apply early...
