I was 10 min late to my interview because of traffic. The lady was understanding said it was fine but I'm wondering if this will have an impact on their desicion?

They didn't start interviews then, just missed going over a ppt on why this school by the admissions lady.
I don't think my interviewers knew I was late at all, but idk if they document it for later consideration.

Any opinions?

I did email them that I was going to be 10 min late when I saw how much traffic.

It certainly doesn't work in your favor. But if the presenter said she doesn't mind, I wouldn't think it affected your chances too much and there's no way of knowing if it did affect your chances. Was there a sign in sheet/did they take attendance? Just take it as a learning experience and show up to your other interviews at the ass crack of dawn.

There was no sign in and the lady said, yep that's Chicago traffic! She laughed about it and said this will happen with your patients at this school.
I live 40 min away and left 2 hours before the interview. There was a car accident and the highway was like a parking lot!

I think you'll be fine especially in Chicago. Patients from downtown are often late @_@ but we're pretty understanding about it at my office.

Sometimes things are out of your control - like traffic. I guarantee the interviewers have shown shut up late things themselves. Don't worry about it

Although some things are out of your control, like traffic, why weren't the rest of the people interviewing late as well?

It was the highway I took where the accident was. A lot of the people (3) at the interview took the train to the school or came from a different direction. or maybe they lived closer. One of the interviewers went to school there and Im assuming lived within walking distance. There were a total of 6people at the interview including me.
