Hmmm I expect to see a new leading cause of blindness &/or loss of blue-green color vision discrimination:

You'll Be Able to Buy Viagra Over the Counter for the First Time Ever—In the U.K.

At a community level, I would not be strongly opposed to this happening in the US (I'm quite tired of PAs and/or preferred PDEV-Inhibitor, and return to stock for several hundred $s worth of viagra on a daily basis). Counterfeits & adulterated supplements are ever populating on the FDA's recall list.

I'm sure this would make for far fewer awkward conversations as well (patients, prescribers, RPhs but with RPhs taking the blunt of questioning & continued awkwardness of course)

Would that really help the awkwardness though? I would imagine that every tablet of that stuff would be locked up to prevent theft so instead of talking to a pharmacist/technician, they would have to ask the 18 year old clerk to open up the "blue pill" case. (unless the government bans anti theft devices like they did with Plan B)

Anyway, grats to all the old men in the uk, party on!

Agree - with the expected price per unit ($7.00/pill), I don't think the chains are going to give anyone the chance for a five-fingered discount.
How are these going to be packaged? I guarantee it won't be like the little Anacin tins- too easy to steal.

And when it lands in the US, these will be sold at gas stations and 7-Elevens.

But it sounds like it's being sold similar to birth control in Oregon. The pharmacist has to do a small questionnaire-based assessment before selling it. No small packages, probably a vial. Although didn't Viagra recently advertise a sort of single-pill container stateside?

Plan B is still kept in anti-theft cases as far as I'm aware, what do you mean?
